By volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, you can be a part of the change you want to see in our community.
Our volunteers are the backbone of our success! Without them, our work would not be possible. You will find them on the build site, stocking shelves at our ReStore, hosting an event or serving on our board of directors or family selection committee.
Habitat for Humanity is world-renowned for the empowering and meaningful experiences we offer volunteers.
This is your chance to become a member of one of the most well-known volunteer programs in the world.

The ReStore is Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast’s largest fund generator for building our homes.
Our volunteers serve a pivotal role in our success. They welcome our customers, work on our front desk, stock shelves and lend their talent to create appealing displays.

Are you looking to volunteer on a regular basis but only for short periods of time?
If this is the case, our Recycle Centre would be perfect for you. Our volunteer “shifts” take place twice a day.
Individuals come in and sort the most recent donations of bottles and cans. It takes less than an hour. You could sign up for as many shifts as you would like.
Once a week, we do a large sort of our donations for the recycle depot. Several volunteers work together to complete this task. It is a great social opportunity with a nice group of other volunteers.
